An Invitation to Listen

What can’t you stop thinking about?

Maybe it’s the painting you want to make. The book you keep imagining. The dance class you miss. The flowers you want to grow.

Maybe it’s music, photography, writing, making things by hand—or simply having more space in your life to create.

Or maybe your creative act looks entirely different: a business idea, a retreat, a body of work, a new contribution, a different way of earning, or a different rhythm of working or living.

follow the thing that keeps returning

Creativity is bigger than art. It is one of the ways we listen to ourselves, make meaning, experiment with possibility— and make a life feel like our own again.

Three Days. One Unfolding Journey.

You don’t need the whole map.

Day One

Hear the Call

What makes you feel alive? What has been crowded out? What keeps returning and asking for your attention? We begin by listening.

Day Two

Move Through the Fog

You don’t have to know exactly where you’re going before you begin. Experiment. Follow curiosity. Let action show you what thinking alone cannot.

Day Three

Create What’s Next

Put something into form: an idea, a practice, a project, a decision or a different way of living. One Tiny Brave Step at a time.

Bring a notebook. Bring your curiosity.
Bring the part of you that still wants to make things.

Come Gather With Us

When the old map runs out,
creativity becomes the compass.

You don’t need to reinvent your whole life. You don’t need the perfect plan.

You need enough space to hear yourself, enough curiosity to follow what feels alive, and somewhere beautiful to begin.

Come sit with us.
Something wants to be made.

A Note From Your Host

I would be honoured to gather with you.

I created My Charmed Life for women who love the lives they’ve built— and still sense that something more wants room.

Maybe it’s creative. Maybe it’s practical. Maybe it’s both.

My hope for these three afternoons is simple: that you hear yourself a little more clearly, take seriously the thing that keeps returning, and experience creativity not as another thing to accomplish, but as a way of listening, experimenting and coming alive.

And that you leave with one real next step.

With love, Desirée Dunbar Founder, The Secret Garden Society
